The largest cargo ship in the world so far, the Ever Alot, has arrived in Rotterdam, which is really huge!
The monster started from the Chinese shipyard and has already arrived in the port of Rotterdam. It will only be a monopoly in sea shipping for a while, because soon there will be a whole fleet of such large cargo ships.
The Evergreen shipping company became famous last year when one of its cargo ships ran aground in the Suez Canal, blocking the shipping route and only with great difficulty could it be put back on the water. Since then, the company has started serious developments and ordered the largest cargo ship to date from the Chinese shipyard Hudong Zhonghua, the Ever Alot with a capacity of more than 24,000 containers, which recently arrived in the port of Rotterdam, which was captured on video by the port’s decor.

With its capacity, the Ever Alot surpassed the largest ship of recent times, the Ever Ace, which can transport exactly 12 containers less. However, Evergreen is not only thinking about such monsters, it has also ordered smaller ships with a capacity of 1,800 and 3,000 containers from the manufacturer.
Why are ultra-large cargo ships good?
Maritime freight transport cannot be said to be environmentally friendly, especially when smaller cargo ships ply the oceans with little cargo. A transport ship of the size of Ever Alot can simultaneously deliver an amount of goods equivalent to several ship loads across the sea to the destination, thus polluting the water and the air much less.
