The newest BURGER KING® experience has arrived in the heart of Miskolc

The special feature of the city center BURGER KING® is that in addition to the 130 square meter business premises, a dedicated guest area with 68 seats has been opened for hamburger fans. Fast and convenient service is provided by 5 touch-screen Kiosks, and guests can order their favorites without waiting in line via the BK® application.

With this Miskolc unit, the fourth new BURGER KING® restaurant opened in the country this year, bringing the total number of stores in Hungary to 62. “Miskolc has always occupied a prominent place on the brand’s domestic map: the city’s residents have been our loyal guests for years” – emphasized László Sümegi, President of Fusion Befektetési Zrt. “We are pleased to be able to expand Miskolc Plaza with a modern and convenient gastropub, where local hamburger fans can enjoy the fire-grilled WHOPPER® experience right in the heart of the city.”

Fusion Befektetési Zrt. aims to further expand the gastronomic offer available in the countryside with its new units. In addition to the guest experience, the company also places special emphasis on its employees, as the new BURGER KING® restaurant in Miskolc provides stable employment for more than 30 people. The brand continues to be a prominent player in the life of the local community, as a total of more than 70 people now work in the two suburban restaurants, so the company employs a total of more than 100 employees in the three Miskolc locations.

The restaurant network of Fusion Befektetési Zrt. continues to expand steadily in Hungary, with several new BURGER KING® restaurants expected to open in 2026.
