Lidl doubled its wine export
Lidl Wine Expo Hungary was organised for the 4th time this year. The representatives of Lidl stores came from 11 countries to try nearly 800 Hungarian wines, made by more than 100 winemakers in 21 wine regions. In 2016 Lidl Hungary sold more than 11 million Hungarian wines, from which 6.1 million were sold abroad – the discount store chain’s wine export doubled. Hungarian wines are available in more than 5,000 Lidl stores in 10 countries.
