Food price increase may stop
The Central Statistical Office reported a 4.7 percent annual inflation in April, and a 2.7 percent core inflation (by adjusting food and raw material prices). The price of food has risen sharply in recent months, however, analysts of the MKB Bank, said a turn will occur.
The average monthly consumer price increase (CPI) in April was 0.6 percent. Compared to last April, prices increased by 4.7 percent – reports the Central Statistical Office. In the first four months of the year, prices were 4.3 percent higher, than in the same period of last year – reports Világgazdaság Online.
