An agreement was reached about the seven-year EU budget

A few minutes after half past six in the morning, EU leaders finally managed to reach an agreement on the EU budget for the next seven years and a recovery fund to mitigate the economic effects of the coronavirus – napi.hu wrote.

On the 5th day of their summit in Brussels, EU leaders adopted an EU framework budget for 2021-2027 and a financial package to repair the economic and social damage caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The news was announced shortly before six o’clock in the morning by Charles Michel, President of the European Council, in an Twitter message following the EU summit that began on Friday.
