SPAR Hungary – a retail chain that employs nearly 13,000 people – and the Trade Union of Commercial Employees (KASZ) have reached an agreement on increasing workers’ salaries. The minimum starting salary is going to be gross HUF 200,000/month. In 2018 SPAR invests HUF 9 billion in paying more to employees. With last year’s HUF 10-billion investment in wages, in a 2-year period salaries increase by almost 40 percent at SPAR – informed head of communications Márk Maczelka. //
