The Association for Sustainable Packaging was founded
In order to promote sustainable packaging solutions, the Association for Sustainable Packaging (FeCso) was established, offering a unique platform for companies and organizations to support and promote their sustainability efforts.
The Association’s mission and plans to support the sustainability efforts of companies and organizations were made public at a press conference that was attended by great interest.
The Association aims to provide professional and community-based support to its members, facilitating the exchange of information and experience, as well as the creation of synergies. They plan to pay special attention to ensuring that their members can actively participate in shaping the future of the industry. Their plans include organizing professional events, sharing good practices and launching extensive, informative educational projects for both professionals and end users.
Prof. Dr. Károly Belina, the president of the Association, explained how cooperation between educational institutions and real economy actors can help solve the issues and problems of everyday life, and also drew attention to the fact that properly chosen packaging can play a significant role in avoiding food waste.
László Büki, the honorary president of the Association, added that the goal of the Association is to shape attitudes, therefore it is open to all organizations that are committed to sustainable packaging solutions and undertake to actively contribute to the common goals of the Association, so they are happy to welcome all organizations that are committed to the development and promotion of sustainable packaging in their daily work.
