Eisberg is even greener: the company received the GREEN BRANDS trademark for its products
Eisberg Hungary Kft.’s packaged fresh salad and vegetable mixes for retail sale will soon be able to bear the logo of the GREEN BRANDS trademark. The trademark ensures that the certified brand is truly environmentally friendly and sustainable, thus contributing to the protection of the environment, nature and climate, as well as the preservation of valuable natural resources. Eisberg has been committed to these values for many years. The new trademark is an acknowledgment of this effort.
The issue of environmental protection and sustainability poses an increasing challenge to production plants worldwide. Reducing energy consumption and managing resources sparingly impose daily tasks on Eisberg, which produces ready-to-eat, packaged salads.
Eisberg’s products received the GREEN BRANDS certification during a three-step process. The trademark is also important information for customers.
“Openness and expectations for quality and environmentally friendly products and services are increasing. The GREEN BRANDS trademark proves that the entire life cycle of the product and the company was illuminated during the certification, and that it is produced in an ecologically sustainable way, bearing in mind their own responsibility for the preservation of natural resources. At the same time, they are highly committed to sustainability and preserving the natural balance”
– says Renáta Simon-Kovács, business developer of GREEN BRANDS Hungary.
