Oktoberfest is not yet the same
The amount of beer consumed has dropped After a two-year break due to the pandemic, the Oktoberfest in Munich closed this year with 5.7 million visitors, half a million fewer than in 2019, we read in the latest newsletter of VIMOSZ. The amount of beer consumed decreased from 7.3 million liters to 5.6 million liters. 16% of visitors came from abroad, mainly from Great Britain and the USA. Only one number increased, in the two weeks the number of people infected with Covid increased fourfold in the city of Munich.
