Green loans are still going strong
The market for corporate green loans continues to grow dynamically in 2025, while the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB) will introduce ESG data collection for larger corporate loans from July.

This move could prompt companies to actively address their sustainability strategies. In the past year the value of green loans has increased by HUF 300bn to over HUF 610bn. The market is driven by renewable energy and green real estate projects. //
