The number of weekly winners of the Player Card – House Prize Game and, with it, the number of those eligible for the main prize, i.e. the house prize, may increase significantly, as from January 13, 2025, it will also be possible to participate in the house prize campaign of Szerencsejáték Zrt. by purchasing lottery tickets. About 2 months before the draw, nearly 600 thousand players have already gained the right to participate in the house prize draw.

January 13, 2025 could be a lucky day for lottery ticket lovers, because from this day on, you can also win your dream apartment in Buda with scratch cards, or participate in Szerencsejáték Zrt.’s largest campaign, which offers weekly cash prizes in addition to the main prize. In the Player Card-Apartment Prize campaign launched by the national lottery company in September 2024, Player Card holders have been able to collect points by purchasing lottery games, e-tickets and sports betting worth at least 1,500 forints, and in addition to the weekly prizes, they can increase their chances of winning the dream apartment in Buda with each point. In the popular campaign, players now also earn points when they buy lottery tickets.

Zsófia Bánhegyi, Commercial Director of Szerencsejáték Zrt., said: this development is a milestone in the history of the Player Card, which was introduced 7 years ago, as it can affect or benefit hundreds of thousands of our players. She added: the apartment prize – also due to its value – is extremely popular among our players, so I am sure that the number of people eligible for the prize will increase. And for us, as a gambling operator, it is also important from a responsible gaming perspective that as many of our players as possible have a Player Card, as this allows them to limit the amount spent on gambling or minimize losses if necessary, and we can – if they consent – help them in a personalized way to play more consciously.
