The ATÉB forecasts significant milk price increases for this year
The Alföldi Milk Sales and Purchaser Ltd. (ATÉB) forecasts 245-250 million liters of milk production among its membership, compared to last year’s 270 million liters.
In July, milk and dairy product prices may increase by 4-6 percent. From the end of the year a further 4-6 percent increase is expected. The ATÉB is owned by 123 Hungarian dairy producers. The membership owns around 20-22 thousand dairy cows in Hungary – says Mélykúti Tibor, Executive Director to MTI.
