McDonald’s has set new animal health expectations for the global market
McDonald’s has set new standards for animal welfare and animal health for chicken meat procurement, which is being implemented, since last year by the Hungarian supplier of the company, the Baromfi-Coop Kft. belonging to the Master Good Group – McDonald’s told MTI on Friday.
McDonald’s in Hungary has developed its supplier network ahead of the announced commitments. Thanks to this, in 2016, the broiler plant in Baktalórántháza, operated by the Baromfi-Coop Kft. was the first in Europe that won the model farm qualification among McDonald’s chicken meat suppliers. (MTI)
