Mazars: the value of corporate acquisitions reached a five-year high last year in Central and Eastern Europe
Five years ago, the value of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in the Central and Eastern European region was not as high as last year, according to a joint study from Mazars financial advisor and Mergermarket this year.
According to the study, the number of transactions rose by 32 percent to 889 and their value by 41 percent to 67 billion euros.
The region retained its appeal in 2021. A total of 40 public M&A transactions in Hungary totaled 549 million euros last year. (MTI)
