MasterCard: The number of those who spend their holidays in their own country grows rapidly across Europe

Compared to last year, the number of Europeans who spend their holidays in their own country is expected to grow by 114 percent this year – MasterCard’s survey shows.

According to the datas sent to MTI on Wednesday, the Hungarians plan domestic trips 16.5 million times, while they will travel to abroad 3.5 million times, so 80 percent of the population spends their holiday at some domestic resort. (MTI)
