Mastercard: Budapest improved seven places in the most popular cities of the world rankings
Bangkok, London and Paris are the most visited cities in the world according to the Mastercard 2017 compilation, according to which Hungary imroved seven places and ranked 32th among the most popular tourist destinations, according to the Mastercard Global Destination Cities Index – the international card company told MTI.
According to the survey, which surveyed the 162 most visited cities in the world based on 2017 data, almost 6 million foreigners spent on average 5 days in Budapest and spend 103 a day on average per capita. The almost 6 million foreig tourists spent nearly 3 billion USD (825 billion forints). (MTI)
