There is no problem with the credit card payments with a secondary internet connection
The number of card transactions in Hungary rises by about 20 million a year, with more and more people relying on cashless payment. Problem occurs only if the terminal does not work, and the buyer has not enough cash – origo wrote.
Some of the Hungarian commercial units are not affected by this problem at all, but in the other half of the businesses, sometimes happen that the terminal breaks down. The inability of the bank terminal can typically be traced back to a certain, fundamentally easy to solve problem. If there is a problem with the primary connection – which can have multiple reasons for it – and therefore the credit card service does not work, the appropriately separated secondary channel can immediately replace it by providing access and thus convenience for the customers.
