Retail sales in the Czech Republic increased by 4.3 percent in March
In March, retail sales in the Czech Republic increased by 4.3 percent year-on-year, slower than the 5.1 percent in February – the Czech Statistical Office announced in Prague.
The calendar effect adjusted year-on-year increase was 5.9 percent. According to statisticians, the development of retail sales was largely influenced by the fact that last year Easter was in March, and in April this year.
Monthly comparisons showed a 0.6 percent increase in calendar-adjusted retail sales in March. (Kokes János, MTI)
