Macaron Day again on 20 March
This year, the event will be held in the beautiful and exclusive first-floor room of the Bálna Budapest (Whale Budapest).
The conquest of macaron in Hungary was started on 20 March 2012. Of course, many people previously knew Macaron mainly from foreign pastry shops or from the supply of one-two pioneering domestic confectioneries. We can say, however, that the macaron became well known and widely popular, after the first Hungarian Macaron Day held in 2012.
In the following year, dozens of confectioneries in Budapest and the countryside offer macaron in their product range, because of the high interest.
Several new exhibitors will also debut at this year’s Macaron Day including a real specialty: the “macaron” of ÉletKonyha (LifeKitchen) made of 100% natural and healthy ingredients. (http://www.facebook.com/eletkonyha).
