Aldi Portugal unveils beer made from leftover bread

Brewer Aldeana has developed Beer Bread exclusively for Aldi – they replaced part of the malt used in beer production with bread. The new beer is ‘distinctive but uncomplicated’, marked by notes of cereal, caramel and toast.
