Our hearts are green, but the collecting of packaging waste is still low
Due to the introduction and spread of the domestic waste collection the proportion of those who selectively collecting packaging waste doubled over the last decade.
9 out of 10 Hungarian residents claim to collect waste selectively on a regular basis – according to the recent survey of the Beverage Carton Environmental Association (IKSZ). Most people collecting plastic (92 percent) and paper (86 percent) waste selectively, but according to their own statement, the metal is collected separately as well.
