More than ten thousand have already requested free internet from service providers
Ten days ago, on November 14, Prime Minister Orbán Viktor signed a government decree allowing students in digital education to use the Internet for free. According to this, the fixed Internet access service can be used free of charge for 30 days in the case of a legal relationship with a secondary school operating in a digital schedule outside the classroom prescribed in public education and vocational training, full-time education and vocational training.
DIGI wrote to MTI: so far about 1,500 people indicated their need. Support is available from 18 November to 4 December, by completing a form and applies to wired internet. (MTI)
