You can now munch on every Auchan store
In the spring, Munch was also included in Auchan’s food rescue process. Initially, they started with two hypermarkets, but thanks to the enthusiasm of the employees and the success of the munch packages, they introduced the service well before the planned date and have now extended the service to all their stores. From the beginning of May, you can get the three types of munch packages at a discount of up to 66% compared to the original price in every Auchan.
The munch package is offered by Auchan under the fanciful name “Leftover”, referring back to their end-of-year campaign, with which they also encouraged saving leftovers. The bakery package contains products worth HUF 1,500, which are sold for HUF 500, the vegetable and fruit munch costs HUF 3,000 worth of vegetables and fruits, which can be taken away for HUF 1,000, the mix, which is mainly eaten for breakfast or dinner and requires refrigeration, costs HUF 6,000 and you only have to pay HUF 2,000 for the package. Pre-expired and popular foods can therefore be taken away with a discount of up to 66%. The value of the packages and the discounted price will be the same in all stores, but the products included in the packages may vary from store to store depending on the stock. Customers can order the “Remaining” packages until 5 p.m. on the Munch website or in the application. Packages can usually be picked up between 18:30 and 20:30 at the Munch pick-up points located in the customer services. The Munch website and app will always have up-to-date information about the collection time slot and stocks.
