There is already a quantity limit for Trappist cheese in SPAR
A staff member of 24.hu discovered a strange price cap restriction: among other things, the customer can no longer buy any amount of Trappist cheese.

There is lack of trappist cheese
According to the announcement, from November 19, i.e. Saturday
no more than 2 kg of granulated sugar,
5 kg of BL-55 fine wheat flour,
6 liters of 2.8% UHT milk,
a maximum of 5 liters of sunflower cooking oil (also reduced per package),
3 kg or 4 trays of chicken breast,
3 kg of chicken thighs,
13 kg of pork leg,
and a maximum of 3 kg of Trappist cheese with a scale label by Spar Magyarország Kft. can be purchased at one time.
Spar wrote to 24.hu that
“quantity restrictions were introduced for a non-price-stop product because there is not enough Trappist cheese available on the market”.
The Trappist cheese with a scale label by Spar Magyarország Kft. refers to the packages that they slice and measure themselves. The quantity restrictions are the same in all Spars, so customers can meet the order set out in the announcement not only in Széll Kálmán tér. They added that all information about price caps is available on their website.
