Starting today, as part of the St. Stephen’s Day program series, Hungary’s cake and sugar-free cake will debut on the Street of Hungarian Flavors: for the first time, you can taste the chocolate-caramel-cherry creation called DCJ Stílusgyakorlat, as well as the winner of the sugar-free category, the chocolate-cherry Álmodozó.

On Tuesday, family programs, gastronomic experiences and concerts await visitors at numerous locations in the capital: at the Várkert Bazár in the morning, the Alma Band will perform, in the afternoon and evening, Viki Marót and the Nova Kultúr Band, DJ Izil and the Mystery Gang will take the stage. Two new locations will also be opening: on Nagyrét in Margitsziget, the Family Experience Island will be preparing sports, music and playful programs, with concerts by Kefir and Tamás Horváth in the evening, while on Szabadság tér, the Kultúrkavalkád will feature jazz and film music, and children’s programs, including performances by the Itt és Most Társulat, the Hot Jazz Band and the Kerekes Band. The Magic Garden offers fairy-tale-like experiences for the little ones – Pom-Pom’s Tales, Mirr-Murr’s Cat Adventures and Circus Playhouse –, Hooligans and Irie Maffia will give a concert as part of Road Movie Live on the Műegyetem quay, and Bikini will take the stage after Gyula Deák Bill at Retro Tabán. The Jenő Rejtő time capsule can be visited in the Millenáris Művészkert all day long, and in the evening the musical comedy How Can I Live Without You will be screened. Detailed programs are available on the szentistvannap.hu website and in the Szent István Nap mobile application.
