Chinese company overtakes Facebook
Tencent is currently the world’s most valuable social media company after their shares rose 4.52 percent on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Tuesday, surpassing Facebook in market value – origo wrote.
China’s Tencent is at the forefront in several areas. The company owns the video game League of Legends, which has been one of the world’s most popular computer games for more than a decade, as well as WeChat, which has a billion users, and its contactless payment solution. (origo)
