Applications for planting grapes can now be submitted
In accordance with the practice of previous years, between November 2 and November 30 this year, it is again possible to submit individual plans to support the restructuring of vineyards. The support amount of the popular measure among grape growers has increased from 34 million euros to 50 million euros between 2019-2023.

In the last one or two years, the costs of the input materials on which the support is based have increased significantly. Therefore, in order to validate market prices, the cost tables on which the support is based have been updated, they already include the prices for 2022. In addition to updating the costs, the level of support intensity is also increasing. If the area affected by the measure in the individual plan corresponds to the restructuring plan for the geographical indication according to its location, the level of support intensity will increase from the previous 50% to 60%. And in the event that the individual plan does not correspond to any restructuring plan, the aid intensity increases from the previous 40% to 50%.
Another piece of good news for grape growers is that the new regulations resulting from changes in the Common Agricultural Policy, valid from 2024, do not contain any significant amendments regarding grape plantings. The individual plans on which the grants are based will still be submitted for three years, as in previous years, between November 2 and November 30.
