As of August 1, Tesco’s chicken breast, chicken leg and pork leg are on sale
Even cheaper than the previous price-stop price, chicken breast fillets, chicken thighs and pork legs on the counter are available at Tesco for less, and in addition, they are available two days earlier than the date stipulated in the decree, from August 1. The supermarket chain offers these three products at a price that is at least 15 percent lower than the purchase price, which also means that, taking into account the prices of the commercial chains displayed on the Price Monitor at 8 a.m. on August 1st, the cheapest chicken breast and pork leg. In addition to its versatile discount system, the company also supports families in the inflationary situation with its low prices for the most important food items.
Starting from August 1, the chicken breast fillet available at the counter is 100 forints cheaper than the price stop price and the pork leg at the counter costs 140 forints less. This makes Tesco the cheapest in these two categories among the retail chains present on the Price Watcher*.
Tesco not only helps families optimize household expenses with its purchasing strategy, but also supports its customers with a number of additional tools in the smart allocation of the budget that can be spent on food. In its price guarantee program, it keeps the prices of 600 basic food and household items permanently low and constantly monitors them. With a Clubcard, typically 20 popular products are available at Tesco at a great price per week, several of which can be purchased at a discount of up to 50 percent. And more than 1,000 products are available at a significant discount per week under the “Cheaper with Clubcard” program. Pensioners also receive a 5 percent discount on the total amount of their purchases every Tuesday if they use their loyalty card.
