210 million online buyers in China
More and more people buy on the Internet in China. The East Asian country will become the world's largest e-retailer, and in the middle of the decade it may become the largest market for e-commerce.
In China, the number of online shoppers was 210 million at the end of June this year. They spent more than 800 billion yuan (30,400 billion HUF) last year, during transactions – said Li Chin-chi, leader of the e-commerce and information department of the Ministry of Commerce at a forum in Shanghai.
