Manpower: the Hungarian labor market is characterized by pessimism
Pessimism characterizes the Hungarian labor market: in the last quarter of 2013, 11 percent of the employers are planning redundancies, while 8 percent plans recruitment, and 69 percent of them do not plan changes in the number of staff – Manpower’s recent representative survey, shows. The survey was carried out by interviewing 750 Hungarian employers.
Kiss Judit, managing director of Manpower Hungary highlighted, that the Manpower labor market indicator – which is calculated from the difference of recruitment and dismissal planners – was minus 4 percent according to the seasonally adjusted datas for the end of 2013. The data dectreased by 3 percentage points, compared to both the previous quarter and to the same period of last year. (MTI)
