The growth of retail sales decreased in the Czech Republic in May
In May, the retail sales growth in the Czech Republic dropped to 2.7 percent, while rose by 6.9 percent in April – the Czech Statistical Office announced on Tuesday in Prague.
The statisticians pointed out that the significant increase in retail sales in April is mainly due to the Easter holidays.
In May, as in previous months, the turnover of online stores and mail order services rose again fast, and there was also a high level of interest in computer technology, pharmaceuticals and household goods. (MTI)
