Almost one-third more companies bankrupted last year, than in 2008
According to Opten company data provider’s datas; Last year in Hungary, 15 066 companies bankrupted, 31.5 percent more than a year ago.
This is consistent with the prior expectations, but the running off within the year shows a prolonged crisis. According to Csorbai Hajnalka, Opten’s strategic director; the positive scenario would be that, in the first half of the year the number of liquidations would increased rapidly, and then in the last few months they would have being stagnate or decline. In comparison, in the second half of the year, creditors indicated 1300 or more winding-up proceedings per month, so in the second half of the year, the number of liquidations were just as much as in the first – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
