EBRD expects a recession in Hungary for this year
Risks borne the recovery prospects of the Eastern European region – said the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). who, believes there is a cause for “cautious optimism” compared to the past period.
For Hungary, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development estimates a 0.6 percent decline for 2010, compared to last year’s estimated 6.7 percent. This is an improved prognosis: the EBRD predicted a 0.9 percent economic decline for Hungary in its October forecast. The bank estimates a domestic product expansion of 2.0 percent for next year – reports MTI.
