The best cakes of Hungary
The Guild of Hungarian Confectioners organised the Cake of Hungary competition for the 14th time.
A jury of experts selected the best cakes of the nation in three rounds. ‘Curiositas’ by Krisztián Füredi (Hisztéria confectionery, Tápiószecső) won, the runner-up was ‘Sublime Fig’ by Éva Heléna Marsa (Vanília & Gelarto, Nagykőrös) and ‘Tétény Cranberry Almond’ by Ádám Sztaracsek (Jánoska confectionery, Komárom) finished third.

Curiositas
In 2020 JÓkenyér confectionery in Pilisszentiván made the Sugar-free Cake of Hungary, which is called ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
