Hungary successfully stood for home brandy brewing
Pálinka brewing belongs to the traditions of Hungary. For this reason, the government has acted in all forums of the European Union to achieve a change in the rules, said Tállai András.
He reminded that years ago Hungary had already fought its “pálinka freedom struggle” with the union. The Hungarian government has previously exempted pálinka brewing to a certain extent, but Brussels has initiated infringement proceedings. (MTI)
