Hungary is a cheap tourist destination
According to a touristic survey based on figures from the last 4 years Hungary is a cheap tourist destination – 100 euros spent by Austrian tourists worth far more in Hungary in each years – stated Zoltán Szántó chief editor of Turizmus Online in M1 TV channel.
100 euros worth 168 euros this year – last year this number was 181 and before that year it was worth 177 euros. Besides the favourable price/value rate tourists’ decision is also affected by the attractiveness of the country and the large number of events.
Hungarian price/value rate is very favourable for British tourists, as well – during the first 6 months of the year more British than Austrian tourists visited Hungary. As per a survey Austrian people attach great importance to price/value rate and they choose holiday destination based on the best service for the best price. (MTI)
