At the beginning of the year gross average salary was 219 000HUF in Hungary
In the first month of 2012 gross average salaries rose in the national economy by 4.3 percent, whereas net salaries excluding family tax benefits rose by 1.4 percent in comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year – the Central Statistical Office reported this morning in its new type of statistical communication.
In January 2012 full time employees had an average monthly gross salary of 219 000HUF in the national economy, and net salary was 141 600HUF (this latter figure does not take into consideration the impact of tax benefits for children in a family). Consequently, in the past two years, from January 2010 gross average salaries rose by almost 13 000HUF and net average salaries by almost 8 000HUF.
