The sommeliers must meet serious international requirements (wine recognition – region, variety, winery, precise vintage time – food and wine pairing also in foreign languages, decantation, etc…).
In addition to the professional competition, amateur wine lovers can also try themselves in the scope of the 1st Pannon Wine Lover Cup.
This year’s Hungarian Sommelier Championship will take place in Sopron, at the Hotel Lővér, as the result of the cooperation between the Hungarian Sommelier Association and the Wine Marketing Workshop Nonprofit Ltd.
