Hungary exports 700 thousand hectoliters of wine per year

The Hungarian wines are in the forefront of the world, and the popularity of the Hungarian wines are increasing.

Annually about 700 thousand hectoliters of wine is exported mainly to Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and China. Overall the Hungarian wines and champagnes reach about one hundred countries – said Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture said at the Auchan international Wine Saloon in Budakalász on Thursday.
