Hungary is Europe’s biggest horseradish producer
According to data from the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK), Hungary contributes nearly half of the European Union’s total horseradish production – last season more than 10,000 tonnes of horseradish was harvested in Hungary. Hungary exported 80-90% of this – typically unprocessed – mainly to Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic. //
