Hungary is the guest of honor of the international food trade fair opened in Warsaw
Hungary is the guest of honor at the Warsaw Food Expo 2017, an international food fair opened in Nadarzyn, near Warsaw on Thursday. The Warsaw Food Expo was organized on the occasion of the meeting of the Visegrad Group (V4) and the Agriculture Ministers of Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia.
Nagy István, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, at the opening of the fair, highlighted the role of supporting the agricultural sector in international co-operation.
The common agricultural policy will also be on Friday’s V4 agenda.
About 300 exhibitors in the Nadarzyni congress center will represent themselves on about 25,000 square meters at the Warsaw Food Expo. Several Hungarian wineries and pálinka distilleries will debut and the Hungarian National Trade House will exhibit on a separate booth as well. (MTI)
