Hungary aims to become China’s main exporter in the region
Hungary’s realistic goal is to become China’s largest export partner in Central Europe and to play a leading role in China’s investment in Central Europe – the Minister of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday in Budapest.
Szijjártó Péter said at a press conference at the Ferenc Liszt International Airport before the Chinese Prime Minister Li Kociang had arrived that Hungary has so far been successful, according to the data of the first eight months, 26 percent increase in exports to China occured after last year’s 25 percent growth. The value of Chinese investment today exceeds 4.1 billion usd in Hungary – he added. (MTI)
