Hungary is one of the largest net beneficiary of the European Union’s new budgetary cycle that lasts until 2020 – Szűcs Tamás, head of the European Commission’s Representation in Hungary said in Debrecen on Tuesday, at a conference.
Szűcs Tamás at the Successful EU Applications Preparatory Conference Series (SUPER) Conference emphasized that Hungary will receive 25 billion euros support from the European structural and cohesion funds, which is 11 percent of the region’s available resources. Other resources – agricultural direct payments and support of the refugees – a total of 32 billion euros – the country can use 12 trillion HUF until 2020 – he added. (MTI)
