Hungary in a world of conferences

According to data from the Hungarian Conference Bureau, Hungary ranks 23rd among locations for conferences organised by international organisations, with 117 events. This translates into a market share of 1,31 per cent. Budapest ranks 12th among cities, with 96 international events. According to a 2006 survey by Meetings & Incentive Travel about destinations favoured by British organisers of incentive tours and conferences, Hungary and Budapest finished among the ten most popular destinations.
