Hungary has paid 37 percent of the cohesion funds until now
Hungary has paid 37 percent of the available 25 billion euros as a support from the European Social Fund, Cohesion Fund and structural funds between 2007 and 2013. This performance corresponds to the EU average – Johannes Hahn, member of European Commission responsible for Regional Policy, told to MTI in Budapest on Tuesday.
The Commissioner underlined that the amount to be paid from the European Social Fund, the structural funds and the Cohesion Fund between 2014 and 2020 in Hungary is 230 euros per inhabitant, while the EU average is 90 euros, and only 22 euros per citizen in the most developed regions. (MTI)
