More than half of the Hungarians plan to go on vacation this year
More than half of the Hungarian population plan to go on vacation this year, 32 percent of them to domestic destinations, while 10 percent are planning a foreign trip and 12 percent are planning to travel inland and abroad both – GfK’s nationally representative survey reveals – Magyar Hírlap wrote.
The survey reveals that:
The majority of people over 50 those are not planning a vacation. The 20 to 29-year-olds typically travel abroad, in contrast, 40-49 year-olds prefer to stay in the country. Larger families are spending more time in Hungary on holiday on average. (index)
