Tesco’s program against food wastage won Hungarian Business Liability Award
The CSR Hungary Awards were handed over for the 9th time on 13 December 2016. The recognition awards companies are in the forefront in social responsibility
This year, Tesco’s program against food wastage won in the Responsible Collaboration Category. By the end of October 2016 within the supermarket chain’s initiative, more than 2,700 tons of foods were offered to those in need and the program aims that by 2020 all central European Tescos to be prepared to donate the food-surplus to charity.
