Hungarian Tourism Agency: Hungary is a popular destination
Hungary was a popular destination in August and the number of visitors to Hungarian accommodations increased further – the Hungarian Tourism Agency told MTI.
Thecommunication recalled the report of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), according to which in August the number of guests increased by 2.9 percent and the number of guest nights increased by 1.6 percent, compared to the same month of the previous year. Total gross sales of commercial accommodation increased by 8.7 percent, of which accommodation fees increased by 9.7 percent. (MTI)
