Hungarian Tourism Agency: The paper-based guestbook will be abolished
The National Assembly voted in favour of a package of amendments to the law that will eliminate the use of paper-based guestbooks in the future, as requested by the profession. With the long-awaited measure taken by accommodation providers, the administration at check-in will be further reduced and the double record-keeping obligation will be abolished. The measure will enter into force on 1 January 2023.
