Hungarian expert on the jury of this year’s ICCO Global Awards
Judit Szabó, the head of corporate communications and sustainability at McDonald’s in Hungary, has been appointed as a member of the international jury for this year’s ICCO Global Awards. The Hungarian Public Relations Association also supported the nomination of the expert.
In addition to Judit’s decades-long professional experience in communications, the outstanding domestic McDonald’s PR campaigns of the past period played a role in the invitation. The “Nyugati tér Meki – An Icon is Renewed” project has been awarded in numerous domestic and international competitions, including gold at the IPRA Golden World Awards, gold Stevie at the International Business Awards, Grand Prix at the PREXA organized by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and McDonald’s was named Client of the Year at Kreatív Prizma, in addition to the campaign’s recognition.
During her nearly twenty-year corporate communications career, Judit has played a decisive role in the development and implementation of the branding and stakeholder strategies of several multinational companies. He joined McDonald’s in Hungary in 2020, having previously held communications positions at Danone, MOL Group and The Coca-Cola Company for over ten years.
ICCO (International Communications Consultancy Organisation) is an international organisation of PR associations representing more than 80 countries around the world, which announces the ICCO Global Awards every year. The aim of the award is to recognize the most outstanding international PR campaigns and professional achievements, and the jury members are drawn from corporate communications leaders and agency professionals from different parts of the world.
This year’s winners will be announced at the awards gala in Mumbai on November 12, 2025.
